The Current Home of the Original Blackwells from Jamestown Virginia
Having arrived on the 2nd supply ship that helped rebuild Jamestown (after the madness and conflagration razed the first settlement) and thence settling at Blackwell’s Neck on the James River. From there, after travelling up the Pamunkey River and overland to the Dan River, they struck out Southward into North Carolina via Moon’s Creek, finally establishing themselves on Gentlemen’s Ridge near Park Springs at a place called Blackwell’s P.O.
